HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

During these unprecedented times and with the assistance of our Michigan Conference, we have added the ability to do on-line tithes and offerings through the conference website.  By following the link below:

You will find a donation button of the Allegan church on their website (the second church on list).

Dear Pastors & Churches,

Bishop David Bard is requesting that all United Methodist Churches in the Michigan Area cancel in person, face to face gatherings for the remainder of this month.  We are practicing an abundance of caution as more details about the COVID-19 crisis emerge.  Area congregations are encouraged to use this pause of regular activities to consider what is essential in their lives and the life of their congregations.

Dwayne Bagley

Greater Southwest District Superintendent

Allegan United Methodist Church is a caring dynamic community of faith where all people are invited to encounter God and to celebrate a Risen Lord.

Through God’s Spirit we grow spiritually, emphasize the individual’s relationship with Christ and others, and change with and serve the needs of the community.

The Character of a Methodist

AlleganUMC Synergy: The Power of Togetherness

When two or more people come together in the pursuit of a common goal, end or purpose, a synergy results! The common expression says that the “sum of the parts are greater than the whole.”

Life is energy. We are energy systems who get our energy from just three sources: food, fresh air and each other. Energy only knows two states: on or off- Growth or decay!

When we make positive ongoing face-to-face connections we grow with the energy and feedback we share with each other. This is quite literally the power of togetherness.
